Every venue has its own restrictions. Many venues allow decorations up to a certain height but prohibit drilling, gluing, or hoisting. Suspended structures from the ceiling are often only permitted with written approval and a certified rigger. Candles are no longer allowed at many venues due to fire safety concerns. Confetti and loose flower petals are sometimes prohibited due to cleaning costs. Always request the venue’s rules in writing before finalizing the decoration plan. Surprises on setup day are costly and time-consuming.
