We're an event agency that creates and organizes campaigns and events for businesses.
Here's a rundown of our FAQs.
What do you guys do?
What sets you apart?
How big is your team?
We work with a small, professional team, but we make a huge impact. At our core, there are about 15 of us. During events, we sometimes have over 150 staff members on site.
Where can we find you?
You can find us in the Gruijterfabriek in Den Bosch. It's a large, renovated candy factory where a bunch of creative companies are all gathered. Inside the Gruijterfabriek, we share an office with Kade-M, along with a few graphic designers, industrial designers, communication specialists, and marketers.
Are you hiring?
Letterlijk.
Who's Joep?
How long have you been around?
Are you the biggest?
Serieus Leuk. Dat is onze belofte, niet onze reclame.
In drie woorden:
Fun, fun, and fun! (Our clients say so! :-)) And super professional. But also mega creative.
How much does it cost to hire an event planning agency?
The cost depends on the size and complexity of your event. For a full-scale corporate event, expect to pay between 75 and 250 euros per person, including the venue, catering, entertainment, and technical support.
In addition, an agency charges a concept and management fee. This is typically 10 to 20 percent of the total budget. With us, our pricing is always transparent. You know exactly where you stand from the start, with no hidden costs.
The benefit? An agency saves you time, prevents costly mistakes, and negotiates better rates with suppliers. The investment pays for itself.

How do you choose the best event planning agency?
A good event planning agency should feel like an extension of your team. When choosing one, look for experience with your type of event, creativity in their portfolio, and whether there’s a good rapport.
Ask the right questions: How many similar events have they organized? Who will be your primary point of contact? How do they handle the budget and unforeseen situations? Ask for references and review their previous work.
With us, you’ll always have a dedicated team: a concept developer, a project manager, and a producer. We are IDEA-certified and have been organizing corporate events throughout the Netherlands since 1998. From 50 to 2,000 guests, from kick-offs to anniversaries.

How do you organize an impactful kick-off?
A successful kick-off starts with a clear objective. Do you want to inspire, inform, or motivate? That will determine your program, venue, and format.
Alternate plenary sessions with interactive activities. No one likes to sit and look at slides for three hours. Start with a strong opening that sets the tone. Don’t use entertainment as a mere bonus, but as a way to reinforce your message. And end on a high note.
Choose a venue that matches the atmosphere you want to create. An industrial space feels different from a theater. We design kick-off events where your strategy isn’t just displayed on a screen, but is woven into the experience.

What types of business events are there?
In addition, there are hybrid formats that combine both target audiences. The choice depends on your goal: do you want to connect, inform, celebrate, or engage?
We organize all of these types of events—from an intimate dinner for 30 business associates to a company party for 2,000 employees. Each type requires a different approach, and that’s exactly what makes it fun.

How long does it take to organize a business event?
Most of the time investment goes into the initial phase: finalizing the concept, selecting a venue, and securing vendors. Popular venues and performers book up quickly, so the sooner you start, the more options you’ll have.
Are you planning to do it yourself? If so, expect to spend 200 to 400 hours on organization. By working with an event agency, you’ll save the majority of those hours. We’ll handle the entire process for you, from the initial idea to the post-event evaluation.

Why should you hire an event planning agency?
Organizing a successful event is a skill. It takes time, creativity, and a network of reliable vendors. An event planning agency provides all of that.
With us, you don’t get a one-size-fits-all package—you get a customized solution. We listen, brainstorm, and take care of everything—from the initial briefing to the post-event review—so you can sit back and enjoy your own event.

How do you determine the budget for a corporate event?
Start by determining your objective and the number of guests. This will give you a general framework. For a full-scale corporate event, budget between 75 and 250 euros per person, depending on your goals.
Allocate your budget across the main categories: venue (25–30%), catering (25–30%), entertainment and technical services (15–20%), communications (5–10%), and organizational costs (10–15%). Always set aside a contingency fund of 5 to 10 percent.
A common mistake is spending too much of the budget on the venue and too little on the program. It’s the program that makes your event memorable, not the venue. We’ll help you budget wisely and make the biggest impact possible.

What makes a corporate event successful?
We don’t measure success solely by the smiles on the dance floor. We look at what the event brings: connection, energy, pride, and a shared story. That’s real impact.

How do you find the right venue for your business event?
Start with your concept, not the venue. The space should enhance your story, not the other way around. A strategic kick-off calls for a different setting than a festive anniversary celebration.
Check the practical details: capacity, accessibility, parking, catering options, and technical facilities. But also consider the atmosphere. Does the vibe match your organization? Does it feel right when you walk in?
The Netherlands is home to some stunning venues: from industrial heritage sites to country estates, from theaters to unexpected locations. We have an extensive network and would be happy to advise you. We know these venues inside out and can help you find the perfect spot for your event.

What exactly does an event planning agency do?
We go the extra mile. We work with you strategically to consider the impact of your event—not just what happens, but what it achieves. Because an event is only truly successful if it sets something in motion.

How much does a staff party cost per person?
The biggest expenses are the venue (25–30%), catering (25–30%), and entertainment (15–20%). You should also factor in costs for technical equipment, decorations, and planning. Tip: Start with your budget and work backward from there to see what’s possible.
Through the Work-Related Expenses Scheme (WKR), you can organize a staff party in a tax-efficient way. In fact, a party held at the workplace is completely tax-free. We’ll work with you to figure out how to make the biggest impact within any budget.

What kind of venue is suitable for a staff party?
The best venue for your staff party is one that complements your concept. An industrial warehouse creates a different atmosphere than a beach pavilion or a castle. First, think about the experience you want to create.

What kind of entertainment is suitable for a staff party?
The entertainment can make or break your staff party. The right acts at the right time set the tone, create the atmosphere, and shape the memories your team will take home.

How much time do you need to organize a staff party?
Start planning at least three to six months in advance. Popular venues and performers book up quickly, especially in the fall—the peak season for company parties.
Are you organizing it yourself? Expect to spend 150 to 300 hours on preparation. By working with an event planning agency, you’ll save most of that time. We’ll coordinate everything: from the initial brainstorming session to the follow-up after the party.

What are the tax rules for a company party?
The Work-Related Expenses Scheme (WKR) allows employers to spend a certain amount tax-free on employee benefits, including parties. In 2026, this allowance will be 1.7% of your total taxable payroll.
So, smart planning pays off. We’d be happy to advise you on how to organize your staff party in a tax-efficient way. That way, you’ll have more of your budget left for what really matters: a great evening for your team.

What are some fun themes for a staff party?
We don’t believe in cookie-cutter themes. The strongest concept stems from your culture, your people, and the story you want to tell. We help you translate that story into an experience that feels authentic from start to finish.

Staff party at the office or at an off-site location?
Both options have their advantages. A staff party at the office is tax-efficient: it’s not subject to the tax-free allowance under the work-related expenses scheme. Plus, you save on venue costs and have everything you need right at your fingertips.
An off-site venue offers more opportunities for a unique experience. It takes people out of their everyday surroundings, which immediately adds to the festive atmosphere. A unique venue makes your party more memorable.
The choice depends on your goal and budget. Are you looking for a casual get-together with a DJ? Then the office works just fine. Are you planning a big party with entertainment and a dinner? Then an off-site venue is often the better choice. We’d be happy to advise you on what suits you best.

Why hire an event planning company for your staff party?
Organizing a staff party is a big job. Doing it yourself can easily take 150 to 300 hours of preparation—time you could be spending on your actual work. An event planning agency can take care of that for you.

How can you make a staff party inclusive and fun for everyone?
A great staff party is for everyone. That means paying attention to diversity within your team: different ages, backgrounds, dietary needs, and preferences.
Praktische tips.

How much does it cost to organize a kick-off?
The cost of a kick-off event depends on its duration, location, and program. For a half-day event, expect to pay between 50 and 150 euros per person. A full-day event with dinner and entertainment can cost up to 250 euros per person.
The biggest expense categories are the venue (30%), catering (25%), entertainment or speakers (20%), and technical equipment (15%). Also take into account any transportation and decoration costs.
Smart budgeting starts with setting priorities. Where can you make the biggest impact? Sometimes a compelling speaker makes more of a difference than a lavish lunch. We’ll help you organize a kick-off event that makes a difference, no matter your budget.

How do you create a kick-off program?
A good kick-off program is all about variety. No one wants to spend three hours staring at slides. Alternate content-focused sessions with interactive activities, workshops, and inspiring moments.
Geef ruimte voor interactie via break-out sessies of tafelgesprekken.
The final 15 minutes are what people remember. Make sure to focus on that. We design kick-off programs where your strategy isn’t just displayed on a screen, but is woven into an experience you can feel.

Which venue is suitable for a kick-off event?

When should you hold a kick-off meeting?
Fall (September–October) is also a popular time, especially as a follow-up to the summer vacation. Please note: January and September are peak seasons for kick-offs, so popular venues and speakers book up quickly.
So plan at least three to six months in advance. The sooner you start, the more options you’ll have. We’re happy to help you with the planning: from the initial idea to the post-event evaluation.

What is the difference between a kick-off meeting and a retreat?
A kick-off meeting and a retreat serve different purposes. A kick-off meeting marks a new beginning and sets your team on a new course, strategy, or project. The focus is on the future: where are we headed?
A team-building day focuses more on deepening relationships and fostering connections. The team works together on collaboration, role allocation, or team dynamics. The focus is inward: how do we work together?
The two can be easily combined. For example, a morning kick-off session focused on strategy and inspiration, followed by an afternoon retreat featuring workshops and team-building activities. We design programs that cleverly combine both elements.
Want to learn more about organizing a kick-off? Read our full article →
How long does a kick-off meeting last?
Most kick-offs last half a day (3–4 hours) or a full day (6–8 hours). A half-day format works well for a concise message with a plenary program. A full day allows for more in-depth exploration through workshops and breakout sessions.
Our tip: It’s better to have a tight four-hour program than a drawn-out eight-hour one. The energy level should be higher at the end than at the beginning.

What kind of entertainment is appropriate for a kick-off event?
At a kick-off event, entertainment isn’t just for fun—it’s a strategic tool. The right act at the right moment reinforces your message and generates the energy you need.
Think of an opening act that grabs the audience’s attention and sets the tone. An interactive musical session to energize the crowd between content segments. A speaker who approaches your theme from an unexpected angle. Or a band that brings the event to a climax.
The key is to choose entertainment that suits your goal and your audience. We work with performers who have experience with corporate events. They know how to get an audience of managers just as excited as they would at a festival.

How do you get your team involved in a kick-off?
The biggest pitfall at a kick-off meeting is a one-way conversation: management talks and everyone else listens. That doesn’t work. People remember more when they’re actively involved.
Incorporate interactive elements into your program: polls and voting rounds, small-group breakout sessions, roundtable discussions with specific tasks, or a Q&A with the management team. Make people feel that their input matters.
Start engaging people even before the kick-off. Send out a teaser, solicit input through a short survey, or have teams prepare an assignment. The more ownership people feel, the greater the impact of your kick-off.
Want to learn more about organizing a kick-off? Read our full article →
Can you also organize a kick-off event online or in a hybrid format?
An online or hybrid kick-off is possible, but requires a different approach. The biggest risk is passivity: people zoning out behind their screens and checking their email.
With a hybrid format, technology is crucial. Online participants need to feel just as engaged as those in the room. This requires high-quality cameras, a presenter who can connect with both groups, and a technical team that ensures everything runs smoothly. We have experience with all formats and would be happy to advise you.

Why hire an event planning agency for your kick-off?
Organizing a kick-off event takes more time than you might think. Coming up with a concept, finding a venue, putting together a program, booking speakers, arranging the technical setup, and organizing catering—it can easily add up to hundreds of hours.
An event agency brings experience to the table: we know what works and what doesn’t. We have a network of venues, speakers, and performers. We work with you strategically to ensure your message resonates effectively. And on the day of the event, a team will be on hand to coordinate everything.

How much does it cost to organize a company anniversary celebration?
The cost of a company anniversary celebration depends on the number of guests, the venue, the program, and the production. A small anniversary celebration (20–50 people) held at your own location costs between €2,000 and €8,000. A medium-sized anniversary celebration (50–200 people) held at an external venue costs between €10,000 and €35,000. A large anniversary (200+ people) with full production starts at €35,000 and can reach €100,000 or more.
On average, you can expect to spend around €75 per person, covering the venue, catering, and entertainment. Through the Work-Related Expenses Scheme (WKR), you can reimburse a portion of these costs tax-free, especially for events held at your own location.
At Live Impact, we use transparent budgets. You know exactly where you stand from the start.
How much time do you need to organize a company anniversary?
The planning time for a company anniversary depends on its size and complexity. For a small anniversary (20–50 people), you’ll need at least 3 to 4 months. For a medium-sized to large anniversary, we recommend 6 to 9 months of preparation.
For a major anniversary (100 years, multiple target audiences, full-scale production), a planning period of 9 to 12 months is no luxury. Popular venues and entertainment options are often booked solid months in advance.
Starting early gives you more creative freedom, greater certainty in planning, and better availability of venues and vendors.
What kind of venue is suitable for a company anniversary?
When planning a company anniversary celebration, you have two main options: your own company premises or an external venue. Both have their advantages.
Hosting events at your own location creates a direct connection between guests and your company. What’s more, it offers tax advantages: events held on your own premises fall under the Work-Related Expenses Scheme (WKR) and are therefore largely tax-free.
An off-site venue offers more possibilities in terms of capacity, technology, and the wow factor. Think of an industrial building, a castle, a theater setting, or a festival grounds. The venue becomes part of the story.
What is a good theme for a company anniversary?
A strong anniversary theme goes beyond mere decoration. It connects the past, present, and future into a single overarching theme that runs throughout the entire event.
How do you make a company anniversary unforgettable?
An unforgettable company anniversary comes together when everything falls into place: the story, the experience, and the details. Here are the key ingredients.
Start with a strong concept that fits your organization. A common thread that runs through everything: from the invitation to the closing.
Make it personal. Involve employees in the planning, give customers a chance to speak, or incorporate personal stories into the program. That resonates with people more than a standard speech.
Surprise your audience with entertainment that suits them. A live band, a spectacular performance, or an interactive experience they won’t expect.
End with a moment that will linger in your memory. A shared ritual, a surprise, or a personal message for the future.
Can you host a company anniversary celebration at your own location?
Absolutely. Hosting a company anniversary celebration at your own location is actually one of the smartest choices you can make. It creates a direct connection between guests and your organization. People get to see where you work and experience your culture.
What’s more, it offers tax advantages. Events held on your own premises fall under the Work-Related Expenses Scheme (WKR). This means that most of the costs are tax-free—a significant advantage for larger anniversary celebrations.
In practical terms, it takes a lot to pull it off. A good event partner can transform your own venue with technology, decor, catering, and entertainment—turning a parking lot into a party venue, or a production hall into a dining venue.
At Live Impact, we have extensive experience organizing anniversary celebrations at corporate venues. We know exactly what it takes to transform your own premises into an unforgettable party venue.
What are the rules regarding the Work-Related Expenses Scheme (WKR) for a company anniversary?
The Work-Related Expense Scheme (WKR) is a tax scheme that allows employers to reimburse employees for certain expenses on a tax-free basis. This also applies to company anniversaries.
The big advantage: events held at your own business location are fully covered by the WKR. This means that the costs for catering, entertainment, and production are largely tax-free. For a major anniversary celebration, this can save you thousands of euros.
Different rules apply to off-site locations. You can still claim a portion of the costs under the WKR, but the scope is more limited. Always consult your accountant or tax advisor for the exact options available.
Tip: Combine your anniversary celebration with a substantive program (such as an annual kickoff or strategy session). That way, you can claim part of the costs as a business meeting.
How do you get employees involved in a company anniversary celebration?
Your employees are the heart of your anniversary celebration. The more involved they are, the more they’ll feel that the event is “theirs.” And that greatly strengthens their sense of pride and connection.
Practical ways to engage employees: form an anniversary committee with colleagues from different departments. Collect personal stories and anecdotes for a retrospective. Give employees an active role during the event. Organize an internal campaign leading up to the anniversary.
Interactive elements work well during the anniversary celebration itself. Think of a photo wall featuring memories, a live poll, a group activity, or a surprise from the team for the management.
The best anniversary is one where everyone feels like they're part of it—not just as a guest, but as a participant.
Why hire an event planning company for your company anniversary?
Organizing a company anniversary is a specialized skill. It requires creative thinking, meticulous planning, vendor management, and experience in handling unexpected situations. An event planning agency brings all of this to the table.
The benefits are clear. You save time: no more endlessly comparing venues and vendors. You get a creative concept tailored to your organization. You have a single point of contact for everything. And on the day of the event, you can relax and enjoy yourself instead of worrying about the details.
At Live Impact, we combine creativity with meticulous organization. We call this "Serious Fun"—events that bring together substance and experience.
What kind of program is best suited for a company anniversary?
The ideal anniversary program builds momentum and combines substance with an engaging experience. A proven format consists of three parts.
Start with a reception that sets the tone. A welcome drink, background music, and a visual overview of the company’s history. This immediately puts guests in the right mood.
The content-focused segment is the heart of the program. This is where you can include speeches, a look back, storytelling, and a glimpse into the future. Make this segment interactive; give employees and customers a chance to speak. Keep speeches short and to the point.
Finish with the festive part. Live music, entertainment, a dance party: this is the time to celebrate. Choose acts that suit your audience. And end with a moment that will linger in everyone’s memory: a surprise performance, a shared ritual, or a personal message.
How much does it cost to organize a corporate event?
The cost of a corporate event depends on the format, the number of guests, the venue, and the program. An intimate corporate event (20–50 people) costs between €3,000 and €10,000. A medium-sized event (50–150 people) held at an off-site venue costs between €10,000 and €35,000. A large corporate event (150+ people) with full production starts at €35,000.
At Live Impact, we work with transparent budgets and help you make smart choices that deliver results within your budget.
How much time do you need to organize a relationship event?
The lead time for a client event depends on its size and complexity. For a small, intimate event (20–50 people), you’ll need at least 2 to 3 months. For a medium-sized to large client event, we recommend 4 to 6 months of preparation.
Also keep the invitation process in mind. Your guests have busy schedules. Send out save-the-dates at least 8 weeks in advance and the official invitations 4–6 weeks beforehand. This will significantly increase attendance.
Starting early gives you more choice in venues, better availability of entertainment, and more time to develop a well-thought-out concept.
Which venue is suitable for a corporate event?
The venue for your corporate event is part of the overall experience. You have two main options: your own company premises or an external venue.
Having your own venue fosters transparency and builds connections. Clients can see where you work and get a sense of your culture. Plus, it offers tax advantages through the Work-Related Expenses Scheme (WKR). With the right decor and production, you can transform your space into a unique venue that creates a memorable experience.
An off-site venue enhances the wow factor. Think of a museum, a rooftop bar, a historic building, a wine cellar, or an industrial loft. The venue tells a story even before the program begins.
Choose a venue that suits your target audience and the nature of the event. An exclusive dinner for 30 key clients calls for a different setting than a client appreciation day for 200 customers.
What is the difference between a relationship event and a customer appreciation day?
A customer appreciation day is essentially a specific type of relationship-building event. The difference lies in the target audience and the objective.
A client engagement event has a broader scope. It can be aimed at customers, but also at partners, suppliers, prospects, or a combination of these. The objective can range from client relationship management to business development or brand positioning.
The format also varies. A networking event can be a private dinner, an exclusive conference, an inspirational session, a festive gala, or an informal networking reception. The choice depends on who you want to reach and what you want to achieve.
How can you increase attendance at a relationship event?
Make sure your program offers real value. People don’t come just for drinks; they come for an experience, knowledge, or a network they can’t find elsewhere. Clearly communicate that value in your invitation.
Personal invitations are more effective than mass emails. Have account managers or executives send out personal invitations. This greatly increases engagement. Send out a save-the-date at least 8 weeks in advance and the official invitation 4–6 weeks beforehand.
Choose the right time. Avoid holiday periods, busy industry weeks, and Mondays and Fridays. A Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoon or evening often works best for business meetings.
You might also want to mention that capacity is limited. Exclusivity creates a sense of urgency to respond.
What kind of program is suitable for a relationship-themed event?
The ideal program for a relationship-building event combines three elements: content, connection, and surprise.
Start with a reception that sets the tone. A welcome drink in an inviting setting gives guests a chance to arrive and strike up initial conversations.
The social element fosters personal connections. A group dinner, an interactive workshop, or a networking session with a twist. The best business conversations happen in informal settings.
End the event with a surprise. Live entertainment, a special performance, or a personalized gift. This is what guests will remember and talk about.
Keep it short and sweet. A 3- to 4-hour relationship event with a tight schedule works better than a full-day event.
How do you measure the success of a relationship event?
The success of a relationship event can be measured in several ways. Not everything can be directly expressed in monetary terms, but there are clear indicators.
Qualitative: the atmosphere and energy during the event, the quality of the conversations, spontaneous feedback from business contacts, and whether the event is being discussed within your guests’ professional networks.
Tip: Send a brief survey to your guests within 48 hours. Keep it to 3–5 questions. And schedule a follow-up meeting with your key contacts within two weeks: the event is the start of the conversation, not the end.
Can you host a relationship-themed event at your own venue?
Absoluut.
What’s more, it offers tax advantages. Events held on company premises fall under the work-related expenses scheme (WKR), which means that most costs are tax-exempt.
In practice, your venue doesn’t have to be a traditional banquet hall. A good event partner can transform any space—from a parking lot to a dining venue, from a warehouse to a theater. With the right technology, decor, and catering, any space can become something special.
The element of surprise is significant. Clients who are familiar with your office aren’t expecting a spectacular event. This makes the transformation all the more impressive.
Why hire an event planning agency for your corporate event?
Organizing a client event requires creativity, meticulous planning, and an eye for detail. Your clients are your most important contacts, so you don’t want to take any chances with an event that isn’t quite right.
An event planning agency offers several advantages. Creative concept development tailored to your brand. A network of reliable vendors for venues, catering, and entertainment. Experience in managing the entire process, from concept to follow-up. And on the day of the event: professional coordination so you can focus on your guests.
At Live Impact, we combine creativity with strategy. We call this "Seriously Fun"—events that bring together content and experience.
How do you invite clients to a client event?
The invitation process plays a major role in determining the turnout for your networking event. A successful approach involves several steps.
Start with a save-the-date, at least 8 weeks before the event. Keep it brief and intriguing—enough to get people to save the date, but not so much that you give everything away.
Have account managers or executives follow up personally. A phone call or personal message significantly increases attendance compared to an email alone.
Consider creating a sense of exclusivity. A limited number of spots or a personal touch in the invitation will make the event more appealing.
