Privacy Statement

Introduction

We respect the privacy of people who provide us with personal data. We'll keep the personal data you provide secure and confidential. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Telecommunications Act, and other privacy regulations.

In this privacy statement, we'll tell you why we use your personal data. We'll only process the personal data we get for the purposes it was provided for. We'll also explain how we use your personal data and how long we keep it.

What personal data do we collect from you and what do we use it for?

We process the personal data we need for your participation in an event. In many cases, we'll ask for the following personal data: participant's name, address, place of residence, and phone number, gender, date of birth, title, position, company name, and bank details (if needed for payment or security). We need this personal data to offer, deliver, and invoice our services for an event.

We won't share your personal data with third parties without your prior consent, unless it's required by law, a court order, or in case of another vital interest on your part. For example, this could include health data if you become unwell during an event.

We need this personal data to fulfill our agreement with you, making your event participation, hotel stay, catering requests, and invoicing possible. We also have a legitimate interest in this data to address any specific wishes you might have.

We keep this personal data until our agreement with you is completed, and for up to 7 years after that, partly because the tax authorities require us to.

We team up with certain companies. These partners might get your personal data, but they'll only use it to help run the event and to give you tailored information. If any partners are based outside the European Economic Area, we'll always ask for your permission before they receive your personal data.

Third-party websites

You'll find links to other websites on our site. This privacy statement doesn't apply to them. The same goes for the social media buttons on our website. These other websites might have different privacy policies that we can't control. This privacy statement only covers personal data you give to us (either in person or through our website). You're responsible if you click these buttons and share your info.

We only use the personal data you provide for the purposes we've described above. We might share your bank details with third parties to process payments. This third party, as a processor, is also required to follow privacy rules, which we've put in writing.

Contact form and newsletter

You can ask us questions using the contact form. By using it, you're giving us permission to get in touch with you to set up an appointment or to send you specific information.

You can subscribe to our newsletter. To do this, we'll use your phone number, email address, and name.

We have a good reason to keep this info so we can get in touch with you. We'll hold onto this personal data until we're sure all your questions are answered, and then for up to six months after that for any follow-up chats.

You can totally sign up for our newsletter. You can cancel your subscription whenever you like, and every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.

We'll keep this info for up to three months after you've unsubscribed from the newsletter. You can also just send us an email if you don't want the newsletter anymore.

Sensitive Info

If possible, we'll remove any sensitive personal data (like health or race info) from your questions, complaints, or anything else you send us.

We don't collect any sensitive personal data, like health info (or other special personal data), unless it's absolutely necessary for an event and only with your permission.
