A developer day is an internal or semi-internal event: 20–200 participants, one day, focused on knowledge sharing within the company’s own community through hands-on workshops. A tech summit is larger and open to the public: 200–2,000 participants, multiple tracks, and renowned speakers, sometimes lasting several days.
