A themed dress code asks guests to dress according to a theme such as Black & White, Roaring Twenties, or Tropical. It works best for internal events where people feel comfortable. Black & White is the safest choice: everyone has dark-colored clothing.
Be sure to communicate your ideas at least 4–6 weeks in advance. Themed dress codes are less suitable for external networking events with new acquaintances.
