How do you write a good letter to a speaker for a business event?

A good speaker briefing includes: a description of the target audience, the event’s theme, the speaker’s slot in the program, the desired tone (inspirational, informative, or provocative), the duration (including or excluding Q&A), relevant organizational context, and any off-limits topics.

Always schedule a pre-call of at least 30 minutes no later than two weeks before the event. Speakers who refuse to participate in this pre-call or treat it too casually are a risk.
