According to the IDEA Pitch Code, a pitch fee is standard practice for professional pitches. An event agency invests 40 to 80 hours in a full-scale pitch—that’s two weeks of work for a senior event manager. A pitch fee partially offsets that investment.
The standard fee ranges from €1,500 to €5,000 per agency, depending on the scale and complexity of the event. This amount will be deducted from the total project cost if you choose the agency. Agencies that know their efforts are appreciated will deliver better pitches.
