Fraud Blocker

What is considered a normal no-show at business events?

For free business events, the average no-show rate ranges from 20% to 40%. For paid events, the no-show rate is much lower: 5% to 15%. This difference can be explained by the financial barrier—those who have paid are more likely to attend.

Within the free category, the no-show rate varies widely. An internal team-building day has almost no no-shows. A casual networking event, on the other hand, can have a no-show rate of 40–50%.

With an active turnout strategy—a strong invitation, reminders, and personal confirmation—you’ll quickly drop below 20%.
