A strong briefing should include at least the following: the event’s objective (what do you want to achieve?), the target audience (who are the participants and what motivates them?), the budget (a range is sufficient), the preferred date and location, the group size, and a description of the company culture. It also helps to explain what you’ve done before and why it did or didn’t work. The more specific you are, the more tailored the proposal you’ll receive.
A good briefing saves time, prevents misunderstandings, and leads directly to more relevant concepts.
