De gasten beleefden dus géén maffe dag én nacht en maakten vooral géén onverwachte gebeurtenissen mee. Er waren geen elfjes, zeemeerminnen, reuzen en dwergen die oesters vingen. Er was ook geen rode knop waardoor 1 tafel bij het diner bedolven werd onder de confetti. De clown van Cirque du Soleil heeft niet opgetreden. Anita Meijer zong niet. Er is geen officieel Wicked Wonderland plaatsnamenbord op de locatie in de grond gezet. Er was geen drag-DJ.

You couldn’t win a performer for the bus at the bingo game. The party at the Loods near Thuishaven didn’t go on until the wee hours. No one danced during the Party Animals’ performance. We also didn’t stop in a field along the way to sing along to a beer cantus in an inflatable church. During dinner, you didn’t get a dessert in the shape of a chocolate bathtub with dancing legs. And if you thought that on the way back, John de Bever sang a few songs on the church square of his hometown, that’s not true.

It’s precisely that element of surprise that makes an incentive unforgettable. It’s not what you get, but what you experience. That’s “Seriously Fun”: an incentive that people will still be talking about years later.
