Musical fireworks

Once every four years, the Netherlands becomes the stage for the World Music Contest (WMC). For three weeks, 20,000 musicians compete for a title on the highest stage. Live Impact produced the official opening ceremony.

With the theme "Breathing the World," we took 12,000 visitors on a sixty-minute journey around the world. Goosebumps from the very first note.

Behind the scenes, it was all about precision: a crew of 289 people, 1,482 hot meals, and an 83-meter crane that literally lifted the show image skyward. Seriously Fun: big, tightly organized, and an hour that lingers in the memory.
