Catching dreams with tears and bursts of laughter
Recently, we were standing in a packed theater. Popcorn flying through the air, a lump in our throats. Grade 6 of De Bosrank elementary school was waiting in the wings. The reason was raw: teacher René had died of cancer.
We decided not to sit still, but to put on a musical instead. Thirty students sang for their parents. Janouk Kelderman spoke with specialists on stage. In the auditorium, we filled a huge dream catcher with hundreds of dreams.
As they left, visitors saw those dreams projected onto the façade in large letters, along with three conversation tips to take home with them. This ensures that the conversation continues, even long after the curtain has fallen.
