Bridge up, mouths open
The Austrian Tourist Office wanted to shake off its dusty image. We knew just what to do.
Hundreds of motorists suddenly found themselves face to face with a mountain landscape on the highway. The bridge went up. Everyone expected to wait a few minutes. We turned that standstill into the moment.
As soon as the engines were turned off, the concrete came to life. The bridge became a giant screen displaying dreamy images and fun facts about Austria. It wasn't an advertising block, but a creative activation that was reported on by the national press. At the same time, a team of enthusiastic hosts walked along the rows of cars and handed out authentic Zotter chocolate. A traffic jam that no longer felt like a traffic jam.
That's what 'Seriously Fun' is all about: you take a daily annoyance and turn it into something you can take with you. Austria didn't turn out to be picture perfect that day, but it did become a memory that lingered for miles.
